There's an Uprising in Heavy Metal Music and Botswana is Its Pioneer

Rockers enjoying a concert by Remuda, Barren Barrell and Skinflint, three heavy rock metal bands from Botswana at Club Zoom.

Spanish photographer Pep Bonet set out into Botswana for December 2015 and discovered a juxtaposing worlds the first being Africans and the second being heavy metal music. With the belief that its sound unifies those who are fans and/or artists of the genre. The Tswana rockstars have rebirthed its sound and its aesthetic with new faces and sound. How badass!
