AFROPUNK x EDGE, is thrilled to announce the Joburg Battle of the Bands finalists. The Battle of the Bands event aims to discover black local musical talent with potential to change the current closed industry landscape and standards.
The top 16 bands will compete in a series of Battle of the Bands events taking place from 18 November-03 December, with the final round taking place on December 14 at the Plat4orm in Newtown.
The winners will not only be graced by sharing a stage with the likes of Solange Knowles, Anderson .Paak, Laura Mvula and many more at the main event but, will also be securing bags by walking away with a cash prize of R15 000!
