Cherrie: Bringing Swedish R&B sounds of the diaspora to the World

We have seen the rise of R&B from the diaspora with the likes of German artists Ace Tee & Kwam.e with Bist Du Down whose visuals went viral on the socials. Now is the rise of come up star Cherrie who blew up with her single 163 För Evigt ft. Z.E and even had Kehlani on the remix. In the age of Africa rising, there is a new awakening within Europe's creative space for black Africans of the diaspora to explore and expand their own art.

The music video was shot in Cape Town, South Africa and follows a narrative of Cherrie and her friend exploring the ins and outs of the drought struck city. Directed and Produced by Simon Yemane.
