Gucci Launches "Changemakers" Fund headed by Dapper Dan

After receiving backlash from their distasteful balaclava product (February 2019) which was reminiscent of Jim Crow era propaganda, Gucci has teamed up with legendary designer Dapper Dan alongside Will.I.Am and activist Michaela Angela Davis.

The program is divided into three-tiers:

1. The Changemakers Fund that is suported by $5m towards community based programs throughout North America.

2. A volunteer initiative providing Gucci clients and members of products in exchange for their volunteering services in their communities.

3. A scholarship fund worth $1.5m
