New Music Fridays: Rich the Kid, Jay Electronica, Jay-Z and Kehlani

The long awaited feature with the queen Onika Maraj finally dropped! Rich the Ken and Barbie need to give us visuals and I rate that this should be the lead single off of his album Boss Man. The Plug Walk artist's tracklist features the likes of Lil Baby, Da Baby, Post Malone, Quavo and a new fave of mine Lil Tjay. Stream below:

Top 5 Picks:

2. Stuck Together ft. Lil Baby

3. Ray Charles

4. Sick ft. Da Baby

5. Not Sorry ft. Nicki Minaj

11. About My Business

Kehlani broke up with YG on Valentines Day after that she's been dropping songs with subliminals about her ex. In this song she calls him Toxic. It's not really a good song, lyrically that is.

After a decade and Jay-Z having 3 kids and 4 albums, Jay Electronica dropped his debut album A Written Testimony. The joint album with Mr. Carter focuses on testimonies from Islam and blackness. The introduction to the album is a track titled The Overwhelming Event stating that African Americans are the real children of Israel.

Ghost of Soulja Slim features Jay-Z talking about his rap experience with lyrics such as if you didn't have a strap you couldn't wear a necklace.

This album seems targeted at hip hop heads from the 90s with Notorious B.I.G references in Flux Capacitor where Electronica spits Remember Rappin' Duke? Duh-ha, duh-ha You never thought that hip-hop would take it this far from Juicy.

The Neverending Story is a neverending story on cultural appropriation. Jay spews it well when he says they wanna be us, we just got to see us. The album is available on YouTube and TiDal exclusively.
