Jordan Peele has had an eye-opening career for not only black directors but, directors all over the world period. Reeling over $70m on its opening night making it the #1 grossing horror movie ever. His directorial debut Get Out grossed at over $33m and regardless of how the Oscars categorized it Peele himself stated that the distinction was that Get Out was a biopic and Us is a horror movie. The movie stars Lupita Nyong’o, Winston Duke, Shahadi Wright Joseph and Evan Alex as a family tormented by their evil, scissor-wielding doppelgängers. It was rated a 94% rotten tomatoes!
