When I Get Home (Directors Cut) is Underrated

Solange just dropped the directors cut of When I Get Home which got snubbed for any Grammys nomination in 2020. The visual diary has bops from "I saw things I imagined" to "Almeda". This album doesn't focus so much blackness as "When I Get Home" but moreso on cultural identity outside of blackness in this case her homogenous Texan culture, pole dancing, digital art which is then topped with a touch of sci-fi.
